Shortlist Winners Announced
Our team of judges came together at Fort Dunlop on Thursday of last week. Armed with a myriad of business experience across a spectrum of industries they took the afternoon to go through the applications you have submitted to this year's Business Awards. Wouter Schuitemaker (Investment Director, Business Birmingham), Russell Luckock (City industrialist), David Hardman (Chief Exec, Birmingham Science Park) and Jon Griffin
(Business Journalist, Birmingham Post), plus our very own editor Alun Thorne each contributed their experience and viewpoint to the judging process. Our thanks go to the many local companies who submitted some fantastic awards entries, and gave the judges such a difficult task on the day. Once the debates were concluded and the coffee cups were drained, the panel emerged with an excellent shortlist reflecting the diversity and success of business in the Midlands region today. We can now look forward to the awards ceremony on Wed October 12 at ICC, where we will not only reveal the winners, but toast the considerable success of all our shortlisted companies.
